How to add it, step by step
Pick your device. We've highlighted the one you're using.
iPhone or iPad Your device
Use Safari, the blue compass app.
- Open askitsimply.com/app in Safari.
- Tap the Share button. Don't see it? Tap ••• More first, then Share.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. Not in the list? Tap Edit Actions at the bottom and add it.
- Make sure Open as Web App is on (newer iPhones), then tap Add.
- Tap the purple Ask It Simply icon on your home screen. That's it.
Android phone or tablet Your device
Use Chrome, the round red, yellow and green app.
- Open askitsimply.com/app in Chrome.
- If you see an Install button on this page, tap it. Otherwise tap More at the top right.
- Tap Install app (or Add to home screen), then Install.
- Find the purple Ask It Simply icon on your home screen or in your apps.

Computer (Chrome or Microsoft Edge) Your device
- Open askitsimply.com/app in Chrome or Edge.
- Click the Install button on this page, or the small install icon at the right end of the address bar.
- Click Install. Ask It Simply opens in its own window and gets its own icon.

Want to remove it later?
iPhone or iPad: press and hold the icon, then tap Remove App or Delete. Android: open Settings, then Apps, tap Ask It Simply, then Uninstall. Computer: open the app, click the menu at the top right, then Uninstall.
