Snap what is in your fridge, upload it to a free AI chat, and get 3 meal ideas plus a short list.
Why it matters
Dinner stress is real. AI is surprisingly good at what can I make with this — as long as you stay in charge of allergies and food safety.
Do it now
- Take a clear photo of the shelves you will cook from (no need for the whole kitchen).
- Open ChatGPT or Gemini on your phone, start a chat, and upload the photo (sign in if the app asks).
- Paste the prompt below. Fill in allergies and foods you will not eat.
- Pick one meal. If a step is unclear, ask: "Simplify step 3."
- Still read labels yourself before anyone with an allergy eats.

Here is a photo of my fridge / pantry. Suggest 3 dinners I can make in about 30 minutes with what you see. For each: name, 5–8 steps, and a tiny shopping list for missing basics only. Avoid: [allergies / foods we don't eat]. If a food looks spoiled or unsafe in the photo, tell me to skip it.
You did it
